Renaissance Gallerie opened in 1993 in Bangalore and is one of the most established, long-standing contemporary galleries in India that has maintained a strong identity and continues to build and value trusted relationships with its clients.

Over the last twenty years, Renaissance Gallerie has served many collectors. Clients range from Bollywood stars, ministers and businessmen, to those who pay monthly for a painting worth under Rs. 20,000 - all with one element in common: the love of art.

The gallery's aim has always been to advise clients and to offer high quality art at a good price. The gallery has retained the same mentality and goal for twenty years, providing a personal service towards its clientele.

Renaissance Gallerie has become synonymous with quality and diversity, exhibiting a comprehensive collection of sculptures and paintings, characterised by its variety. From famous grandmasters to up-and-coming artists, there is no artist—big or small—whose art the gallery cannot source.

Back in the mid-90s, Renaissance Gallerie grew in popularity through its infusion of cultural twists into exhibition openings.  Each opening featured some form of music recital, dance performance, theatrics and special guest appearances with the goal of making art-shows equally interesting for art enthusiasts and hobbyists alike.

Famous patrons at the gallery’s shows have included Simi Garewal, Lucky Ali, Shabana Azmi, Dimple Kapadia, Ananth Nag, Dino Morea, Vasundra Das, Shobha De, Sunitha Rao, Shatrughan Sinha, Daksha Seth, Girish Karnad, Ministers Rani Satish, Ramakrishna Hegde, Roshan Baig, and RV Despande, Vijay Amritraj, Vani Ganapathy, and Arundati Nag.

Renaissance Gallerie is proud to have played its part in giving back to the community through its charity events over the years: “Set a Child Free” in aid of the Spastics Society of India, “Rendezvous” in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India, “Qismat” in aid of the children of Christel House and “Art Extravaganza” in aid of Ashvasan, home for the unwanted aged.
